Design of Water Cooling Plates
Water cooling plate, also known as liquid cold plate, operates on a straightforward principle: within a closed liquid circulation system, a pump circulates the liquid, which absorbs heat from a heat sink attached to the power source. This heated liquid then travels to a larger cooling device where it dissipates the heat. The cooled liquid returns to the heat-absorbing equipment, and the cycle repeats continuously.
Water cooling plate is highly efficient, boasting thermal conductivity over 20 times greater than traditional air cooling methods. This efficiency enables it to handle heat dissipation needs ranging from hundreds to several kilowatts. Consequently, water cooling plates are widely used in various industries, including laser technology, military applications, medical equipment, power electronics, and industrial machinery.
