Vacuum Brazing for Liquid Cold Plate Processing Technology

Vacuum brazing liquid cold plate refers to a liquid cold plate which is heated in the vacuum chamber after the combination of the substrate and the cover plate, and melts the brazing filler metal under the corresponding process conditions to basically connect the cover plate into a whole and form a flow channel inside. The vacuum system can be connected to the workpiece so that the pressure inside the workpiece is lower than atmospheric pressure during brazing.

For vacuum brazed liquid cold plate, it has the following advantages:

1. No flux is required, significantly improving the corrosion resistance of the product;

2. Save a lot of expensive metal flux, and do not need complex flux cleaning process, reduce the production cost;

3. Vacuum brazing filler metals of wettability and liquidity is good, can weld more complex structure and narrow channels, especially for thin wall and microchannel water pipes, vacuum brazing improve the yield of the product, get solid clean face.

Lorithermal's micro-channel vacuum brazed water-cooled plates are up to 5mm thin within 800*400mm. The material can be 1060\3003\6061, etc.
